She holds a deep love for the universal church of Jesus Christ, transcending denominational boundaries. She enjoys reading, meditating, and spending quiet time in fellowship with God. She values her personal time, and delights in traveling, singing, dancing, and listening to jazz and contemporary Christian music.
One of her primary passions is fostering unity among Christian denominations so that the church more fully reflects God’s will and effectively reaches those yet to place their faith in Christ, helping them to see and encounter Him through His church.
Our Vision
The ministry plants seeds of faith designed to nurture a deeper, fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ in children and their families. We are also committed to helping Christian women develop mature faith through Scripture engagement and the practice of spiritual disciplines, empowering them to live fully in the purpose God has created for their lives
How And Why We Started
Our VBS Story
Our founder, Reverend Noreen Williams-Gibbs, was born and raised in the village of Marigot, St. John, on the island of Grenada. In 2018, during her final year of seminary, she returned home and observed children passing by her family’s house—most notably, a little girl who reminded her of her own youth.
As she watched that girl, Rev. Williams-Gibbs reflected on the Marigot community, her teenage years, and the pressing need for young people—especially the girls—to understand God’s love for them and His desire for them to live lives marked by self-worth, wholeness, and integrity. She shared, “As a teenager, I lacked biblical knowledge, but I noticed how Christians in our community lived compared to how I was shaped by my surroundings. I knew my way did not please God. I sensed that God wanted more from me and deserved better. I longed for a place to learn Christian values, deepen my relationship with God, and grow in biblical understanding. Those desires stayed with me into adulthood.” Over time, by engaging with a biblically grounded Christian community, she strengthened her relationship with God, which helped her make more Christ-centered decisions.
She believes her personal journey, along with her love for her community and Grenada, was the divine spark behind the vision for this ministry. Thus, in 2018, immediately after seminary, she returned to Marigot and launched the first Vacation Bible School. Since then, VBS has ministered to hundreds of children, and the ministry’s programs continue to grow and evolve.
